‘Teun’
According to their LP-relaese ‘Paul’, the psychedelic garageband Suit and Tie Johns asked me to do the photographs for their upcoming album. Instead of the iconic guns, mud, highways, moustaches, pick-up trucs, boots, alcohol and sexy gals, I choose only to have a modern flatbuilding, an old pipe and a lot of empty sky to focus on. The old pipe is knocked down shortly after shooting. The picture is brutally but nicely raped by graphic designer Bas Reijnen and put together as a whole. The band was very happy about it.
‘Teun’ is one of the four portraits I shot with them. Everyone who bought an album, also has got a psychedelic Teun, Paul, Nick and Xavier in their homes.
